Quality Fabrication and Design, LP, one of the fastest growing companies in the snack food processing equipment industry has been manufacturing inline Tortilla Chip Fryers since 1987. Quality Fabrication's fryers have been designed and built to the same high "Quality" standards that have become synonymous with Quality Fabrication's equipment.

These fryers are designed to cook Corn Products, such as corn chips and tortilla chips, with production capacities ranging from 500 lbs/hr up to 3000 lbs/hr and Extruded/Pellet Products with production capacities ranging from 600 lbs/hr up to 2000 lbs/hr. All fryers are supplied with either vertical or horizontal stainless steel hear exchanger coils, depending on your available floor space, and with a wide range of up to 3 million BTU's.

The Control Systems and Instrumentation on these fryers have been designed to utilize the latest state of the art PLC Technology.

Horizontal Heat ExchangerHorizontal Heat Exchanger
Consistent and rapid heating of cooking oil is achieved while hot spots are eliminated. The Quality Fabrication and Design, LP heat exchanger operates at high thermal efficiency and requires a very small volume of cooking oil. Unit is completely assembled and ready for operation. The burner system is offered with natural gas, LPG, light oil, or dual fuel.
Vertical Heat Exchanger

Vertical Spiral Heat Exchanger
A spiral tube bundle in a vertical position is design for space saving. Cooking oil is evenly heated and tubes easily remain free of particle build up. Faster oil turns, reducing free fatty acid problems, are possible due to the low oil volume required.

Tortilla Chip Fryer

Corn Product Fryer
Multi-product fryer allows for uniformed frying of tortilla and corn chips. Cooking oil is heated with a remote heat exchanger and is circulated continuously through the fryer. Special fryer pan and filter design allows fryer to operate at low oil volume reducing oil turn over issues, which enhances product shelf life.

Plantain Chip FryerPellet Fryer and Oil Tank
Fry consistent plantain chips with this externally-heated continuous oil circulation fryer. Precise temperature control, low oil volume and the most efficient continuous fines removal produce rapid oil turnover rates for chips with a longer shelf life.


Pellet Fryer
Pellet Popper Fryer

Evenly fry expanding and non-expanding pellet-based snacks and extruded collets. Fryer allows for
consistent and exact controls of temperatures and product dwell times that are so critical with the quick-popping pellets of today. Fryer design operates with a low volume of oil, which greatly improves the oil turnover and reduces free fatty acid levels.
